An ASIC Compliant Managed investment education course for candidates wishing to commence a role within the Managed investments industry.
The RG146 Managed investment education program will provide you with the necessary skills, knowledge and compliance to become an ASIC Approved, Authorised Representative.
Organisations who sell Managed Investments and other Financial Services such as Timeshare are required to hold a Securities Dealers Licence and their sales staff are required to have an Authorised Representatives number.
The Authorised Representatives number can only be obtained upon successful completion of the RG146 Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Education Program, this course forms part of the overarching RG160 program and the units of competency associated with the course are derived from the Diploma of Financial Markets.
The Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) oversee the compliance of the Finance Industry by ensuring those working in the Industry are working to the relevant standards and are maintaining the required professionalism that has long been.
One Step Further developed this program in consultation with the Timeshare Industry and anyone wishing to commence a sales or compliance based role within the industry must complete this training prior to commencing employment.
In order to successfully complete the RG146 program you must complete all five (5) units of competency associated with this course, they are:
FNSINC501 – Conduct product research to support recommendations
FNSCUS506 – Record and implement client instructions
FNSCUS505 – Determine client requirements and expectations
FNSIAD501 – Provide appropriate services, advice and products to clients
FNSASICT503 – Provide advice in managed investments
This course is delivered in conjunction with your employer and via One Step Furthers online learning management system. Upon commencing your position your employer will provide you with all course information and instructions on how to commence your course online.
