SITXCOM002A - Work in a socially diverse environment 
SITXEVT001A - Develop and update event industry knowledge
SITXEVT002A - Provide event staging support 
SITXOHS001A - Follow health, safety and security procedures 

10 Elective Units of competency

 Ten (10) units from one or more from the functional areas of the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Packages specified below or any relevent endorsed Training Package:

  •  Communication and Teamwork
  • Creative and Technical Production
  • Events
  • Finance
  • Food and Beverage Management
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Risk Management and Security
  • Tourism Sales and Operations
  • Venue and Facility Operations
  • Languages other than English
  • Computer Operations and ICT Management

 

 

In all cases selection of electives must be guided by the job outcome sought, local industry requirements and the characteristics of this qualification.
